For I know that Jesus is singing this song to me:

There comes a time, a time in everyone's life.
Where nothing seems to go your way.
Where nothing seems to turn out right.
There may come a time, you just can't seem to find your place.
For every door you open, seems like you get two slammed in your face.
That's when you need someone, someone that you, you can call.
When all your faith is gone... and it feels like you can't go on,
Let it be me... Let it be me...
If it's a friend that you need... Let it be me, Let it be me...

Feels like you're always coming up last.
Pockets full a nothing, ain't got no cash.
No matter where you turn, you ain't got no place to stand.
You reach out for something and they slap your hand.
I remember all to well, just how it feels to be all alone.
Feel like you'd give anything, for just a little place you can call your own.
That's when you need someone, someone that you, you can call.
When all your faith is gone, feels like you can't go on.
Let it be me... Let it be me...
If it's a friend you need, Let it be me, Let it be me,
Let it be me...
Let it be me...
If it's a friend you need, Let it be me, Let it be me, Let it be me...

So Thank You Lord, as I love You too,

October 11th 1999 - February 21st 2009

My eldest puppy whom I named Tribble Reba Abbenbroek had to be put down 2 years ago today due to massive kidney failure.
Tribble basically would have required a transplant to correct this problem.

That day I held Tribble as the Doctor put her down and then I then went to pieces. Even though there was no hope for improvement, I still feel as if I murdered her. My belief is that all good dogs go to heaven and this is where I believe Tribble is right now waiting for me.

Many people would say, "hey", it's just a dog but Tribble was never just a dog.
For me she is family and I loved her so!
So I need not apologize for feeling so sad, as I do right now.

Well folks, forgive me if this note bothers you, but I had to share today's remembrance with you all. For my Tribble Dog, I dedicate this song for this is how I feel: http://www.youtube.com/v/UXwrSmfvXc0&hl=en_US&fs=1&rel=0

Re: What we Members of TEAM HOPE do?

Re: What we Members of TEAM HOPE do?

What we members of TEAM HOPE do best is share ourselves. Essentially, we are just good listeners. Though we are not trained social workers, psychiatrists or lawyers. We let the loved ones of the missing know, that like them, we have already gone through the same fog of despair and horror of a "Missing Loved One". As we offer them our hands/hearts and minds in support and together, we walk through the mist.

The Spread of Fanatics

In the 21st Century beside the spread of Democracy, it is the Fanatics who are also once again on the march. Currently it is the Fanatics who wage any one of the shooting wars worldwide. It is the Fanatics who systematically slaughter Democratic groups throughout the World and are gradually taking over. It is the Fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor-kill. It is the Fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the Fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous. 1917 Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of no less than 40 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China's huge population was peaceful as well in 1949 but Mao Communists when finished, managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, the Imperial Japanese Armed Forces murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included as an example, the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; mostly killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet. Then who can forget Rwanda, which on what seems like a whim collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were not "Peace Loving"?

Histories lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points:
- Peace-Loving People have always been made irrelevant by their silence.
- Other Peace-Loving People will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like 1933 Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the Fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.
- History has shown that Peace - Loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, Cambodians and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late!
- As for us who watch it all unfold on TV or the Internet and believe this can only happen to someone else. We must pay attention to the only group that counts, "The Fanatics" who will always threaten our way of life and hence, we must always be prepared to stand up to them!
A thought to share with you from,

Sir Richard...

From Sir Richard, to all those whom I Love...
Personally I do not believe or celebrate Valentines Day. As my Valentine, who is my Wife, gets a Valentine of sorts from me, out of the blue. It is called a "Just Because" gift, or card or thought. So guys as a bit of advice, "Just Because Love" lasts much longer, then a single day event.
"Just Because I Love You Is Everyday!"

Todays News Update for Sir Richard

Today's News Update is that I must first give thanks for the Doctors
our Lord has so far provided for me.
If not for Dr. Mulloy my first appointment for seeing about
the lump on my left arm would not have been
until January 2011 and I probably would be
well on my way to heaven right now.
So I am grateful that he saw me in May and then passed me
on to Dr. Loll who removed the lump and discovered it was a Cancerous Malignant Soft Tissue Sarcoma Tumor. This good doctor removed all that he could and then Dr. Mack
removed what was left of this Stage 4 Cancer from my arm and discovered
more possible area's that are now under watch.
I thank God for all three of these Doctors, as I am sure
I would not be writing this grateful note right now!
So I finally got in to see the good Doctor yesterday
at the Tom Baker Cancer Center.
My Thyroid growth at this moment is benign,
I have a new growth of something on my chest and in my lungs
though which a new MRI has been ordered for.
I am really out of breath these days and the nerve pain
(as 3/4 of my left arm is now missing), is beyond belief.
So they are suggesting that I will end up with what they call, a pain specialist
but first some heavy duty nerve pain meds.
I am not sleeping well due to this as I have said before the Cancer Pain wakes me up during the night, every night and I am being slowly worn down.
The other good news is that they do not see
Radiation or Chemo as needed for me at this time.
For this is good as I need my health because my good wife is not doing well
health wise, so please pray for her.
So Father God Thank You, for the Physicians that
You have supplied for both my wife and I.
Thank You Lord, for the Friends and Family
whom have taken such an interest in our well being.
That as You know Father God, tears of gratitude and joy
are abundant from us both for these blessings as well.
In Your Name I pray in gratitude - Amen.
With Love from Sir Richard and the good Lady Joyce...
