They’re in church every week, a picture-perfect family
Kids dressed in Sunday best, filing into take their seats
I don’t know how she does it, it’s hard to live a lie

She still sits by him, even though she knows the truth
And turns the other check, like the Bible taught her to
If she knew I knew it, bet she couldn’t look me in the eye

 
She knows who, he sees
Where he goes, when he cheats
I don’t know how she unraveled, his tangled web of lies
She knows who, what, where and when
But only GOD knows why?

 
Heard they’ve tried everything, even went to counseling
But he was out again last night, it keeps on happening
How can he sit here through a sermon, on honesty?

 
Cause when he says he’s working late, he’s out with her best friend
Can’t imagine how it feels, betrayed by both them
And how she keeps forgiving, is a mystery?

 
She knows who, he sees
Where he goes, when he cheats
I don’t how she unraveled, his tangled web of lies
She knows who, what, where and when
But only GOD knows why?

 
She’s got three little reasons why she stays,
But they’re gonna grow up and move away,
Heaven only knows what
I’d do, If I were in her shoes....
