YOUNG BOY ON A BEACH?

YOUNG BOY ON A BEACH?
On Thursday, NDP MP Fin Donnelly said that earlier this year, he personally handed Alexander a letter from a Vancouver-based relative of the Kurdi family who wanted to sponsor them to come to Canada.  He said Immigration Minister Chris Alexander promised to look into the request, but there was no response from his office.
The family’s desperate attempt to flee war-ravaged Syria ended tragically Wednesday, when the boat they were in capsized off the Turkish coast.
Over 150,000 migrants have reached Hungary this year, most coming through the southern border with Serbia. Many apply for asylum but quickly try to leave for richer EU countries.
Now the DEATH of the Mother and her 2 son’s, only the boys' father Abdullah has survived.
THIS HEART BREAKING IMAGE OF AYLAN, fully clothed and face-down in the sand, have been shown on newscasts around the world, bringing further urgency to the worsening migration crisis gripping Europe.
NDP MP Fin Donnelly said Thursday that the boys’ Vancouver-area aunt, Tima Kurdi, came to his office in March and begged for his help as she tried to sponsor the family to come to Canada.
He said his office worked with the aunt to write a letter to Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander.
NDP MP Fin Donnelly; “I walked across the aisle in the House of Commons and handed it to him and had a conversation with him,” Donnelly told Canada AM. “I asked Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander to look into the case.”
NDP MP Fin Donnelly said Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander promised to look into it.  He said Alexander’s office later requested more information about the family, which was supplied. “But then the waiting began,” Donnelly said. “The weeks turned into months and we continued to wait and wait, and nothing.”
Tima Kurdi learned of the death of her nephews and sister-in-law, Donnelly said, "when she saw the news, and saw that image, that has now gone around the world, of the young boy on the beach."
NOW WE CAN LOOK AT THIS CHILD, YOUR GOVERNMENT HAS SHAMED US ALL HARPER!
