MARS LANDER "INSIGHT" LANDS ON MARS:

MARS LANDER "INSIGHT"
LANDS ON MARS:
On Monday November 26TH at 1:00 P.M. (MDT).
Or just before noon (PDT) (3 p.m. EDT; 2000 UTC/GMT),
NASA’s InSight mission will land on Mars!
Mars InSight Lander Control Center
https://youtu.be/BiufjRUmndE
The spacecraft will plunge through the thin Martian atmosphere,
heat-shield first, and use a parachute to slow down.
Then, it will fire its retro rockets to slowly descend to the surface.
On a tiny chip my name (Richard G. Abbenbroek) which is also among 2.4 million names
that will be on Mars when InSight touches down and will remain there for an eon or two.
Once on the surface, the earth lander InSight will study the deep interior of Mars
to advance our understanding of the early history of all rocky planets, including Earth.

TODAY NOV.24TH 2017 EVIE DOG MOVES IN WITH ME!!!

TODAY NOV.24TH 2017 EVIE DOG MOVES IN WITH ME!!!
I GET SO EXCITED AS I'M NO DIFFERENT THEN A KID AT CHRISTMAS TIME.
https://youtu.be/G0vSA5_8J0M
WHEN SOMETHING HAPPENS INTO MY LIFE. I AM STILL BATTLING WITH COMING TO MY NEW NORMAL. SHOWS HOW FRAGILE THAT I STILL AM.
The Evie dog project could still go south as my southern fence may be to low. Evie is a runner and as she is from a First Nation she could take off thinking she was going home. I use a walker now just to keep pace with folks in the malls. So she could not be caught by me before she hit fast traffic. If the Dog Rescue think she would be unsafe with me, well I might have to wait for a smaller puppy. This is my fault as I shoot my mouth off in excitement as always, for as I said above that I am like a kid at Christmas. Yet I am so dam lonely. Sorry if I depressed you.

NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET = Now 55yrs PAST.

NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET
Now 55yrs PAST.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3QMscDVjTE
November 22nd 1963...
http://picasaweb.google.com/113417960…/NightmareOnElmStreet…
My brother, sister and I are all at home this day with the mumps
and under the care of our Grandmother.
As my Mother is in the hospital waiting to give birth to our youngest brother.
It was around 11:30 AM Calgary time and we were watching a kids show called Romper Room.
Miss Doobee (the main character), was just about to use her Magic Mirror and as was the custom, went to a commercial break.
For this mirrors back would drop away after the commercial break and then Miss Doobee’s face would magically re-appear.
She would then mention all the kids names (Not Mine!), who were having their birthdays that day.
As they cut back from commercial, Miss Doobee did re-appear on our RCA black and white TV set.
But minus the Magic Mirror and with a very strange look on her face?
Miss Doobee then began crying and blurted out “I’m sorry children as the President was shot!”
What the heck is this??
Now the picture went to the Indian Head test pattern screen that my brother
and I watched patiently every morning, for the TV broadcast to start for the day.
My brother and I, at this time just sort of looked at each other????
As this was truly strange for an adult to do but especially for Miss Doobee, who seemed so friendly and stoic, not at all like our mother for the last 9 months.
CBC news then came on and they in turn, switched to CBS and some guy named Walter Cronkite?
Both the man and the TV network we did not know,
as Canada only had 2 TV networks, CBC (Global Calgary now) & CTV at that time.
I was riveted for the next 4 days and when my Dad came home that night from his work.
I noticed that he was a little dejected, as if some relative had passed away?
My brother and I watched it all, on through to the funeral that Monday.
We were so impressed with the formalities, that we found a large toy to use as
a make shift coffin and then did our own re-enactment of JFK's funeral, drums and all.
This of course only horrified our very Anglican Grandmother, who in turn threatened us with a spanking,
if we did not stop our dis-respectful funeral march game!!!
President John F. Kennedy's assassination has stayed in my memory all my life.
I almost got close enough to visit his grave site once, when I was on my first Team H.O.P.E. training in Alexandria VA.
For on one night, on my own time, I took a bus tour from my hotel to see Washington DC and it was when we visited the Iwo Jima flag monument.
That I could see JFK's grave site eternal flame flickering not that far way, in Arlington.
So close yet so far, as the bus was about to leave and at the same time, Arlington was being locked down for the night.
So close, yet so far and the muffled drums for JFK, I can still hear, to this day...

MOMENTS OF LOVE!

MOMENTS OF LOVE! https://youtu.be/Soe7KVYdV2c
Moments of Love or two throughout my life, has carried me through.
Cherished, comforting, from deep inside me, as a warm fire it does glow.
All my Moments of Love, I think of each one, at least every day often I do.
These Moments of Love, are undiminished, even as I become older, as I do grow now…
Combined together with my Moments of Love, beg me to wish;
“That A Moment Of Love” may befall each and every one of you!
As this GOD’s gift really to each of us is LOVE for that is His greatest gift of all.
This Moment of Love is now over so again,
as I travel out into this Winters Snow.
May there also be a Moment of Love, somewhere out there in store for you!

ABSOLUTION

ABSOLUTION
http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=yAdhDGaEHZ0
ABSOLUTION is a washing away of sins, a promise of rebirth and the chance to escape the transgressions of those now or those who came before us. The best among us will learn from the mistakes of the past. While the rest of us seem doomed to repeat them and then there are those who operate on the fringes of society. They are usually unburdened by the confines of our everyday morality and they have a lack of conscience that are actually nothing more than a ruthless breed of monsters whose deadliest weapon is their ability to hide in plain sight as one of us. If these people that we all have come across cannot be brought to justice or even have any faint hope of them to be bound by any quest for ABSOLUTION, then as these abductors of our Loved ones are hunted down one by one then neither will I.
For if you are lucky enough to recover your loved one or sadly not, they say grief occurs in five stages. First, there’s denial, Followed by anger. Then comes bargaining, Then a form of tormented depression.
For most, the Final stage of grief is acceptance. Grief of a lost loved one is from what I have seen a life sentence without clemency. I will forgive someone who has hurt me and even accept it but I will never forget! Just as the Abductor will never seek ABSOLUTION for what they have done. For them there is no need for ABSOLUTION, as they believe that they have never done anything wrong!
http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=rYEDA3JcQqw
As I Send this to you all with LOVE and with all that heaven will allow!
For those who believe in resurrection, death is inconsequential. It's not an ending but rather a new beginning a second chance, a reunion. The very idea of resurrection is so seductive it is a concept not easy to forget but remember this, as you rise from the dead your old life here will not easily be forgotten so be forewarned as yea one day all shall be Judged.

Kaiser William II Abdicates

Songs by Regina Spektor – Birdsong (Full Album)
https://youtu.be/eOaslNbXcOIoch

Foch receives the German delegates at 9:00 am on November 8 in a train parked in a railway siding in the forest.
He asks if they are ready for an armistice. An aide reads out a list of terms fixed by the Allies at Versailles four days earlier.
At the request of the delegation, a messenger is sent to German forces commander Marshal Paul von Hindenburg in Belgium for his authorization to sign an armistice.
By the time the envoy arrives, on November 9th, the Kaiser has abdicated, with the German Revolution under way.

The Guardian today, on Tuesday the Reichstag had debated the future of the Kaiser. At the time, the political parties were split on the issue. The Kaiser, now with the German High Command in Spa in Belgium, has also been adamant that he will not abdicate.
However Ludendorff’s replacement General Groener has now taken stock of the Army’s position. He reported to the German Chancellor that in order ‘to avoid a total military catastrophe, an armistice was required by November 9th today and that even November 11th could be too late‘.

The Kaiser, still refusing to abdicate, is told by Groener: ‘The Army will march home in peace and order under its leaders and commanding generals, but not under the command of Your Majesty for it no longer stands behind Your Majesty.
Kaiser will board his private train and travel to exile in The Netherlands. This will bring to an end over 500 years of Hohenzollern rule in Prussia and Germany. However, the Kaiser in exile will continue to draw a considerable income from his German holdings until his death in 1941. Wilhelm II will successfully resist attempts to be extradited to face war charges of ‘a supreme offence against international morality and the sanctity of treaties which will later delight in the early war victories of Hitler.

1918: The last Emperor
With Germany on the brink of defeat in World War I and a revolutionary mood sweeping the country, the unpopular emperor Kaiser Wilhelm II was forced to abdicate, ending Germany's monarchy.

On November 9, 1918 the Social Democrats' deputy chairman Philipp Scheidemann rushed to the balcony of Berlin's Reichstag parliament to announce the birth of what would become the Weimar Republic.
"Long live the German republic!" he shouted.
Two days later, Germany agreed to sign an armistice that ended the Great War against the Allied forces.
The terms of Germany's surrender were deemed so humiliating that historians believe they helped sow the seeds for World War II.

1923: Hitler's 'beer hall' putsch
Adolf Hitler, the then relatively unknown Nazi Party leader, and his cronies tried to seize power with a coup that started in a crowded Munich beer hall on November 9, 1923.
After climbing onto a chair and firing into the ceiling, Hitler proclaimed the end of "the government of the November criminals", a term used by critics of the 1918 surrender.
But police and soldiers quickly crushed the attempted putsch, and Hitler was arrested.
He used his trial to gain notoriety and spread anti-Jewish hatred, and ultimately spent barely nine months in prison.
It was in his cell that Hitler began writing "Mein Kampf".

1938: Night of Broken Glass
Nazi thugs torched synagogues, smashed Jewish-owned shops and rounded up Jewish men across Germany on November 9, 1938, in what became known as "Kristallnacht" or the "Night of Broken Glass".
The timing was no coincidence -- that evening senior Nazi figures like Joseph Goebbels had riled up crowds at events honouring Hitler's 1923 coup bid.

At least 90 Jews were killed and 30,000 deported to concentration camps in the outbreak of violence, which historians say ushered in the start of the Nazis' drive to wipe out Jews.
Today, Germans remember the Kristallnacht pogrom by polishing or placing flowers on "Stolpersteine", small brass plaques on cobblestones commemorating Nazi victims.
In Berlin last year, 16 plaques were dug up and stolen just before the anniversary, fuelling alarm about a resurgence in anti-Semitism.

1989: Berlin Wall comes down
The fall of the Berlin Wall in a bloodless revolution on November 9, 1989 is a joyous milestone in German history, ending 28 years of Cold War separation.
But because of the dark chapters associated with the date in the past, it was considered an ill choice for a public holiday. Germans instead celebrate October 3, 1990, the official reunification of East and West Germany.

The wall came down almost by accident, after communist East German bureaucrat Guenter Schabowski was caught off guard during a live press conference on the question of when exactly new, more relaxed travel rights would take effect.
"As far as I know, as of now," he improvised, sending thousands of East Berliners streaming towards checkpoints where baffled guards eventually opened the barriers.
