January 30th, 1969 - Get Back

As I'd Love To Change The World

2 Corinthians 1:12
Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, in the holiness and sincerity that are from God. We have done so not according to worldly wisdom but according to God's grace.

Vaya Con Dios!

For My Wife Who Saved My Life :)

'For Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.'

To My Wife Joyce,

I guess God still has more plans for me...

A Whiskey Lullaby

Whiskey Lullaby

She put him out like the burnin' end of a midnight cigarette
She broke his heart he spent his whole life tryin' to forget
We watched him drink his pain away a little at a time
But he never could get drunk enough to get her off his mind
Until the night

He put that bottle to his head and pulled the trigger
And finally drank away her memory
Life is short but this time it was bigger
Than the strength he had to get up off his knees
We found him with his face down in the pillow
With a note that said I'll love her till I die
And when we buried him beneath the willow
The angels sang a whiskey lullaby

lalalalalalala
lalalalalalala

lalalalalalala
lalalalalalala

The rumors flew but nobody know how much she blamed herself
For years and years she tried to hide the whiskey on her breath
She finally drank her pain away a little at a time
But she never could get drunk enough to get him off her mind
Until the night

She put that bottle to her head and pulled the trigger
And finally drank away his memory
Life is short but this time it was bigger
Than the strength she had to get up off her knees
We found her with her face down in the pillow
Clinging to his picture for dear life
We laid her next to him beneath the willow
While the angels sang a whiskey lullaby

A Happy Birthday!

This song is one that I love, as it has bits of me in it and I so do love the Beatles!!

Hey Bulldog

Sheep dog, standing in the rain.
Bull frog, doing it again.
Some kind of happiness is measured out in miles.
What makes you think, you're something special when you smile.

Childlike, no one understands.
Jack knife, in your sweaty hands.
Some kind of innocence is measured out in years.
You don't know what it's like, to listen to your fears.

You can talk to me.
You can talk to me.
You can talk to me.
If you're lonely, you can talk to me.

Big man (yeah), walking in the park.
Wigwam, frightened of the dark.
Some kind of solitude, is measured out in you.
You think you know me but you haven't got a clue.

You can talk to me.
You can talk to me.
You can talk to me.
If you're lonely, you can talk to me.

Hey Bulldog
Hey Bulldog
Hey Bulldog
Hey Bulldog...

So my Family and Friends.
As I squeeze off another round of life, I have only one wish for all of you!
That you celebrate each of your Birthday's with as much passion and conviction as you do your lives!
Remember that, each day that you are alive is a blessing from God.
So keep your eye on the sites, powder dry & the safety off, only when needed!

For as we Kanadian Klingons like to say;
Qapla'!

Now for some fun.

Life Can Be Groovy

Richard knows that one week from today is his B-Day and remembers
this song that his band played once upon, awhile ago! :)

May Peace and incense be in your crash pads Man...
Always truckin,

Sir Richard...
